Reider + Co featured in a new book by The Design Leadership Network
Reider + Co’s Concord-based Hawthorne Inn project is featured in Design Leadership Network(DLN)’s latest book, The Living Room!
In partnership with the luxury publisher Assouline, The Living Room (October 2024) is a collection of extraordinary interiors across a global spectrum of styles, moods, and locales. With submissions drawn from the DLN’s community of interior designers, architects, landscape architects, artisans, and prestigious partner brands, the book will serve as the ultimate survey of the best in interior design today and mark the first in an annual series of design books spotlighting the entire home, indoors and out.
Each page of The Living Room offers a glimpse inside a meticulously-designed space, from country estates in the Cotswolds to modern desert homes. Sumptuous photography captures the essence of these rooms, highlighting the intricate design details, the play of light and shadow, the harmony of colors and textures, and the spirit of place within each one. From vintage elegance to modern minimalism, each living room tells a unique story, inviting readers to explore and be inspired.
The Design Leadership Network (DLN) is a professional membership association for leaders in architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture, and related creative fields. This volume is perfect for anyone who appreciates the art of interior design, the beauty of photography, or the appeal of a well-designed home. It encourages readers to see their own living rooms through a new lens, inspiring them to create spaces that reflect their unique style, story, and way of living. The Living Room reminds us that the living room is more than just a place to sit. It’s a space where we live, dream, and connect.
“Over the past year, the DLN has focused on expanding our slate of community events for Members and Partners; fostering meaningful conversations about leadership, management, sustainability, wellness, and craft; and producing new internal publications,” says CEO Michael Diaz-Griffith. “Now, we are excited to double down on another aspect of our mission: sharing the incredible work of our community with the world. In THE LIVING ROOM, and the volumes that follow it, our Members and Partners will enjoy a best-in-class platform for communicating their creativity to an international audience of design enthusiasts.”
