Homes + Happy Places
Places + Spaces to Work, Rest, Play + Belong
A Country Estate with Character
Our clients were looking to transform their Southport, Connecticut, Victorian into a space reflecting their family's youthful and casual style while respecting the existing elegant period details. Reider + Co delivered a renovation and design plan that balances traditional forms with modern and family-friendly fabrics, creating strong pops of color on woodwork and cabinetry against a neutral palette of gray, white, and black. Architectural light fixtures draw the eye upward, creating an eclectic mix of old and new that's equally ready for entertaining and low-key family time. With this stunning transformation, the home is now a perfect mix of elegance and modernity, designed for making new memories.
Bringing International Style Home
Reider + Co transformed a Boston penthouse into a modern and functional space that respects the building's historical architecture. We combined bold design elements with traditional pieces and incorporated the clients' collection of art and antiques. The result is a stylish interior perfect for a growing family and frequent entertaining.
A Welcoming Rhode Island Retreat
Reider + Co transformed a newly constructed home on a farm in Middletown, RI into a peaceful retreat for a young family. The open floor plan and soothing color palette reflect the natural surroundings and nearby Newport. The furniture was carefully chosen for guests and extended family. Every detail was designed to withstand the rigors of an active family while still providing a serene oasis.
Thriving in a Sky-high Home
Reider + Co transformed this downtown Boston condo into an urban oasis with breathtaking views of Boston Common. Using a neutral palette with pops of pattern, rich textures, and jewel tones, the spacious unit exudes warmth and functionality. The children's rooms feature playful yet sophisticated elements that will grow with them.
Living Large in a Pied-à-terre
After working with the clients on several projects, Reider + Co transformed this 1,200-square-foot pied-à-terre into a stylish and functional space. To maximize the small footprint, we created an open floor plan by designing a custom table that extends from the kitchen to the living room, giving the illusion of more space and ensuring excellent flow. Bold fabrics and finishes, including navy teal lacquer kitchen cabinets, create a striking yet practical home away from home that reflects the waterfront and downtown Boston.
