Reider + Co’s latest hotel project, designed in partnership with a new development group, is a sprawling 5-star resort with sweeping ocean views.

The design goal for the Wequassett Resort & Golf Club was to give this beloved classic a much needed refresh that would charm guests for years to come—while honoring the property’s legacy as a long-standing coastal retreat.

Reider + Co. was brought on to lead a full-scale transformation of the interiors, including the complete redesign of existing guest rooms across the expanded resort campus. Reider + Co. oversaw the full interior scope—from FF&E specifications and interior architecture to ongoing collaboration with the purchasing agent, architect, ownership team, and hotel management—to ensure every detail aligns with the shared vision for this next chapter.

Inspired by the rhythm of the sea and the timeless character of the landscape, the interiors reflect a refined coastal modern sensibility. Breezy draperies, textured grasscloth, and curated artwork create a sense of ease and connection to the setting, while layered lighting and elegant finishes bring quiet sophistication to each space. This thoughtful approach extends to the public areas, where custom furnishings, natural materials, and clean-lined architecture invite guests to slow down and linger.
