Situated in the mountains of New Hampshire, this year-round vacation home is being designed for a longtime Reider + Co family looking for a space that embraces seasonal living in every sense. With room for ski weekends, summers on the lake, and large family gatherings, this mountain retreat is imagined as a place where comfort, connection, and ease take priority.
The goal of our design approach is to create interiors that adapt gracefully to a variety of uses, from quiet weekends to hosting up to 25 overnight guests. Our scope includes two custom bunk rooms, multiple flexible guest suites, and spaces designed to transition seamlessly between sleeping, entertaining, and gathering. Warm, rich tones anchor the palette, bringing depth, intimacy, and a sense of place and calmness to every room. Throughout the home, layered materials, thoughtful lighting, and functional, family-friendly design choices allow spaces to evolve with the pulse of mountain life.
