For these clients trading their suburban home for upscale living in Boston’s Seaport District, we leaned into a design approach defined by sophisticated and refined details tailored to the modern comforts of city living.
Working with FBN, this urban waterfront project includes a full renovation of the kitchen and baths, refinished hardwood floors, and added millwork for storage. The design focuses on building vertically to maximize the footprint while incorporating interior architecture that makes the space feel more customized and considered.
In the primary bedroom, a built-in headboard with lighting will create a focal wall. In the living room, the main wall spanning the open area will include a bar, TV, and adaptable storage with a sliding screen that can cover the TV when not in use.
Throughout the two-bedroom condo and office, the design will use unexpected materials and finishes, a light, neutral palette, glass, abundant natural light, and stunning water views.
